What is EBPP?

EBPP stands for Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment. The basic idea behind EBPP is the complete electronic processing of bills and of their payment.

The entire process, from billing to receipt of payment, the booking, from release to payment, should be performed electronically and as automated as possible.

As no new data need to be recorded in the systems of the bill recipient, many errors which occur in today's system can be eliminated, work reduced, and, thus, the entire process considerably accelerated.
